A large arts and crafts vase with pierced cover….The body decorated with simple but skilled design of vertical wave lines creating a lineages pattern….The cover decorated with very detailed planished repeating flower heads….The back stippling being especially fine….The sides of the vase have been complimented with riveted wave edged copper bands….A very pleasing tapered form on a stepped foot….The piece is made of brass to the main body and base with riveted copper seams and cover….Although with the original natural patina the piece looks like copper….Very much in the manner of the Yattendon class of Mrs Waterhouse….Functional as a flower vase or potpourri…..Excellent condition….
